Kentucky Derby Sugar Cube Relay Race
Before the Kentucky Derby Race begins why not have party guests compete in the Sugar Cube Relay Race game. The Sugar Cube Relay Game is played by placing sugar cubes (as many as possible) on a spoon and race around the track (front or backyard). The game can be a one-on-one affair by more fun when played as teams. On go, two players from each team race with sugar cubes on the spoons (players can select as many sugar cubes as they like but the team who can finishes the fastest with the most sugar cubes is the winner). The first team members race around the track and hand the spoon with the sugar cubes to the next players in line. If sugar cubes fall off, give the player a 10-second penalty then allow the player to continue.
