Trimming the Holiday Tree
Most holiday parties feature a tree trimming activity; but in the game Trimming the Holiday Tree, guests do far more than place ornaments on a tree—they make those ornaments themselves. Whether they wish to paint an ornament ball the colors of the rainbow, or just string together some individual popcorn kernels to make edible garland, guests will be encouraged to put forth their most creative efforts in the design of these handmade tree trimmers. And as rewards or prizes for their hard work, they can receive prizes such as elaborate, professionally produced ornaments, a tin filled with decorated holiday cookies, etc. Their second reward will be the distinct pleasure of placing their custom made ornament on the host’s holiday tree.
