By the Book
Every book club meeting or book party will feature discussion questions about the tome that serves as the focus of that meeting. So why not make this required Q & A session a whole lot of fun, by playing a game called By the Book? In this game, the host will pose questions about the book being discussed that month; queries which could include “Who is the main character of this story?”, “Who wrote this novel?”, “What was the big plot twist at the end?”, etc. Prizes could be awarded in correspondence with the difficulty of each question; the person who gives the author’s name could receive a pencil, for example, while the person who describes the book’s overall meaning in intricate detail could get a copy of another book by the same author.
