Beach Blanket Bingo
No beach party is complete without a rich assortment of good-natured games. And in the game Beach Blanket Bingo, beachcombers can have some fun in the sun by way of a seaside variation on a classic game. In this game, a large beach blanket (preferably a plain ivory one that can be marked) could be transformed into a gigantic bingo board, with each guest claiming a section of the board for their own. The party host could call out the number and letter combinations associated with this game (B1, I4, N6, etc.); those who get “BINGO” will win theme-appropriate prizes such as beach balls, pool toys, sunglasses, etc. Indeed, everyone will have a ‘ball’ with this friendly game, appropriate for all ages.
