HIDE THE FLAG GAME FOR MEMORIAL DAY
Memorial Day gatherings that include children need a game to keep them busy, and Hide the Flag is a great way to make the time go by quickly for them and to get them involved with each other.
Tie a raffia cord around the flag so that it does not get tangled in anything during the Hide the Flag Memorial Day game. Before the kids get there, hide the flag somewhere in the house, or outside in the yard. Write clues as the where the flag is hidden on index cards. Place the cards in a box, and have the kids pull their clue in order to find the flag. Don’t forget to reward the winner with a prize. They may get to keep the flag.
