Flag Day Sidewalk Chalk
Every June 14th, Americans celebrate Flag Day. Flag day commemorates the day our Flag was adopted as the official flag of the United States. To celebrate this day and inspire a bit of artistic patriotism, have a Flag Day sidewalk chalk art contest with the kids. Provide everyone with sidewalk chalk and let them draw out a scene or picture that best represents Flag Day to them. Whoever draws the best scene gets a prize. Or, everyone can get a prize for their efforts. You can also group the children into teams of two or three to make it a lesson in teamwork.
For an amazing Flag Day party you must have many party favors, and party supplies. Decorate with flags and piņatas. Have many games and activities for the children and the adults. Decorate the tables with red, white and blue candles and have imprinted Flag Day cards to give the entire guests as appreciation.
