Father Says
Father's Day is a special day for everyone, young and old, to appreciate all the fathers in their lives. After all, many games of catch would go unplayed, closet monsters unscared, and bicycle wheels unpumped without him! On Father's Day, a good game to play is Father Says. This is a variation of Simon Says, another game beloved by kids everywhere. However, in this game you say things that Father would usually say, like pick up your clothes, go feed Fido, do you homework, and so on. The players have to all act out the orders given out by “Father.” A person is out when they do something that Father didn't say. Adults and kids alike will get a kick out of this game.
As you start planning for father’s day make sure you have a party favor in mind to give the guests as appreciation. You can have engraved bracelets, necklaces or key chains. As decorations you can have imprinted balloons that say “#1 dad” or “Happy Father’s day”. Get creative and have many party supplies.
