Columbus Day Trivia
Columbus day is the time to remember fourteen hundred and ninety two, when Columbus sailed the ocean blue. On this patriotic holiday, it's good to make learning about this important time in history fun for kids. A great way to do this is to play Columbus Day trivia. Separate the children into two groups and have them line up in two lines. The kids at the front of the line get asked a question, and whoever raises their hand or claps first gets to answer the question. If they answer incorrectly, the other team gets to guess. Which ever team has the most points by the end of the last question wins the game.
As Columbus Day gets near you should try and get the family together for some food and games. You should have the snacks and appetizer in Columbus Day plates, these plates and bowls can be decorated with the American Flag or simply with red, white and blue colors. As for the favors you can give the guest some goodie bags with confetti and many different candies.
