Mexian Jumping Beans
Cinco de Mayo is a festive Mexican celebration with lots of food, dancing, and celebrating Mexican independence from the Spanish. The kids will undoubtedly be more than energized and excited at the party, so they can put that energy to work by playing Mexican Jumping Beans. You play this game by playing some lively Mexican music in the background and letting the kids jump all around like Mexican jumping beans. When the music stops, everyone must freeze. Whoever doesn't freeze is out. The person to hold still the longest out of the two remaining players wins. Give out Mexican prizes like maracas or Mexican candy, or maybe some real like Mexican jumping beans!
Party favors are awesome and for Cinco de Mayo maracas are great to give the guests. These are native instruments that are used for making sound, they are fun and people love them. Maracas are filled with seeds or dried beans and can keep a group children very entertained.
